I’m just bringing this up so you know that some people in the comic fandom side-eye it. ![]() ![]() Either way, it’s totally your call what you want to run with as canon, and I don’t mind providing the alternative. Since then… I’ve kind of come to disregard that scene as canon personally and think of it as more of an AU thing (actually I use Nightwing: Year One as my canon for the Teen Titans Animated universe… but that’s a completely different story). At the same time, I have a soft spot for it because Nightwing #101 was the first comic I ever owned, so it was the first canon I ever knew. ![]() They’re both pretty OOC, and it’s probably my least favorite thing that Dixon and Beatty have ever written for that reason. Nightwing: Year One is honestly pretty weird when it comes to Jason and Bruce. ![]()
